Born in the province of Parma in 1955, he began photographing while studying Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering in Bologna, later opening his own studio in 1981. Throughout his career, he has maintained strong ties to the worlds of design, architecture, and art, collaborating with various design studios and advertising agencies, as well as with prominent publishing houses and trade magazines. His photographs have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad and are part of important private collections.

In recent years, he has focused primarily on his personal artistic research, concentrating on the themes of “Still Life” and “Vanitas.” Through compositions of flowers, fruits, and vegetables, Davoli seems intent on capturing the soul of his subjects and exploring their individuality, forms, and scents. The warm and romantic light, a testament to his unquestionable technical skill and refined aesthetic sensitivity, offers a visual experience on the borderline between photography and painting.
