RIVAL HÉLOÏSE

Graduating in 2017 from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels de La Cambre in Belgium, Héloïse Rival (Paris, 1990) began exploring the world of mural ceramics in 2018.
Her first experience with this expressive medium came spontaneously during a group exhibition in Brussels, which explored the concept of the frame in works of art. Since then, Rival has established herself as a ceramic artist, finding in the material a space for freedom and personal expression.
Her creations combine craftsmanship, bas-relief, and painting, resulting in works that tell stories and construct evocative scenes. Ceramics thus become a vehicle for a dreamlike, ironic, and visionary language. Her aesthetic skillfully bridges the ancient and the contemporary.
Today, Héloïse Rival is represented by several galleries in Paris, Brussels, and Antwerp. Her work continues to stand out for its ability to transform ceramics into a visual narrative, where craftsmanship, imagination, and a contemporary vision of decoration merge with original refinement.
Camilla Prini Gallery has represented Héloïse Rival exclusively since 2025 and was the first gallery to present her work in Italy.
